        James Galway grows best in full sun (6+ hours a day) in rich, fertile, well-drained soil. Its light pink blooms and light-medium, old rose fragrance are strongest when planted somewhere the scent can be enjoyed up close, such as near a doorway, path, or patio. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering through the season.
